How to Jailbreak iOS 8.4 for Mac users by PP Jailbreak Explained

Chinese hackers released their Mac version of jailbreak recently and we will try to help you jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running on iOS 8.4 using the PP jailbreak on your Mac.

This guidance is prepared for Mac users and Window users should not follow these steps and need to visit the page explaining the Jailbreak for Windows Users.

You can use iCloud or iTunes to back up all personal information that you need to keep safe on your device. The jailbreak has been reported to be working with success, but on the off chance if something goes wrong, you can use your saved data to come back on.

You also need to disable any Anti-virus programs or firewalls that could prevent PP Jailbreak from connecting to the internet while jailbreaking is not yet completed.

How to Jailbreak iOS 8.4 devices using PP Jailbreak on Mac systems:

Here are the steps to follow to jailbreak iOS 8.4 using PP jailbreak tool.

Step 1: Please download the latest version of PP jailbreak from our download page on your computer as a start.

Step 2: then you should connect your device to your computer using the USB cable as usual.

Step 3: Of course we need to disable Passcode from Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.

Step 4: Also turn off Find my iPhone from Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone. Do not forget to close iTunes or iCloud because PP jailbreak would not open until they are completely closed.

Step 5: Run PP Jailbreak dmg file and move it to Applications folder. Double click on the PP Jailbreak icon to launch the jailbreak when prompted.

Step 6: As normal PP Jailbreak will take some time to find your device and after detecting it you need to confirm that it is showing the correct firmware version, deselect the Install PP Helper check box; it seems to install the Chinese pirated app store this is why you need to be careful before you select anything during Jailbreaking process.

Step 7: Just and only click on the button at the centre to start the jailbreak process.

Step 8: The jailbreak will take time and might get stuck at steps 3/8 and 5/8 for a while. You need to wait patiently for the process to complete with success.

Step 9: When jailbreak process is completed, your device will respring automatically, and you will see the expected Cydia icon on your Home screen.

Remember that you should put your passcode and find my iPhone back on as they were disabled for the jailbreak process initially.
