How to Hide Apple Music on your iPad, iPhone or iPod

Apple Music is widely accepted all around the world, and you might be one of those who signed up for a period of free trial, but you may feel like the app is not the best for you. If you want to get rid of this app, then there is a way you can hide it but you can’t get rid of it forever. It is not truely appreciated by many people the taken liberty of choice to keep or remove the app but unfortunately it is a permanent application that stays on as a solution we will provide you the steps to take to hide the Apple Music app on your device. Here are some simple steps you can take in hiding the Apple music app on your device;

Step 1: Get your iDevice and simply tap on the Settings option and then click on “Go to the Music”.

Step 2: Click on “Show Your Apple Music Off”- this option is located right under Apple Music.

Once the Apple music has been hidden away from the iDevice, then you can simply access the “My Music” as well as your App’s Playlists. Similarly, you will also find the “Radio and Connect” options in the app. You can also bring the full service back by simply toggling the “show Apple Music on” and then follow the steps highlighted above. The songs you have downloaded can be accessed while the app is offline, online if your iCloud Music library has been enabled.

Hiding Music in iTunes on your Mac and Windows OS –step by step guide

Step 1: Launch iTunes app on your Mac or Windows OS.

Step 2: From the Upper menu bar, simply click on “iTunes” and then click on “Preferences”

The iTunes section is the number one box on the left hand corner of the home page, while the “Preferences” option is the second choice from the drop down menu.

Step 3: From the drop down menu on preferences, simply tap on “General”

Step 4: Uncheck the options that states “Show Apple Music”, this can be found under the “Library Name”, and you will see a notification that reads “Hiding Apple Music will stop using your iCloud Music”.

You have to uncheck all the boxes in this section in order to progress to the next step.

Step 5: Simply click on the “Hide Apple Music” option which is highlighted in a blue colour box on the right top section.

You need to keep in mind that, hiding Apple music will definitely means the app will stop using the library section of your iCloud Music.

Step 6: Click on “OK”

You need to keep in mind that when Apple Music is hidden from your iTunes the changes will not be reflected immediately on your IOS device including iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

You can always get the Apple Music app back at a later date and you will still have access to all its cool features, including the Library, and Radio.
