Dual Sim Adapter for iPhone 6 and 6 plus to conveniently use 2 different Network Sim Cards

  • Jan 03, 2015

There is no device produced from Apple which allows dual sim card usage just yet and if you would like to use your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus there is a new adapter that will enable you to use 2 sim cards on the same device. The DUAL-SIM adapter is on sale from a brand named “MagicSIM” and it has been specifically designed for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus that has been out recently. If you would like to use 2 different carriers sims on your new device this tool would be the option for you.

Although the adapter allows usage of 2 carriers on the same device the downside is not being able to use them at the same time, meaning that you can switch from one carrier to another but cannot use them simultaneously as you would expect from a standard dual-sim mobile phone. However it is still useful if you are a frequent traveller and have 2 sim cards for different regional network operators or for any other reason. The second challenge is the physical appearance and need of covering it up to use the adapter in your new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus since technically it was not possible for MagicSIM to get the adapter internally in the phone it is externally fitted and the best way to cover it would be folding it to the rear and using a case to make it invisible. It can be considered as an extra accessory to convert the iPhone 6/6 Plus to a dual-sim device.

The dual-sim adapter has two ends where one fits into the sim slot of the iphone and the other end fits 2 carrier cards you would like to use on your phone, one other feature to mention is interesting because tool supports a regular sized SIM card. (This could be possible though as best option since many operators still produce regular sim cards as their main product in many countries)

The adapter needs the devices to be unlocked since using 2 different carriers will need this to be the case normally but if two sims will be from the same operator and no other carrier will be used then locked iPhone will be fine.  The selection of the number you will use will be simple process by settings > phone>Sim and select your preferred sim. GSM, 3G, 4G, LTE, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA, HSDPA and WCDMA networks supported by the adapter.
